Green - Janet Lees

Green marks Ordinary Time,
but green is not at all ordinary.
In any landscape there is so much that's green:
between the cracks, alongside the tracks,
covering the hills, beside the rills.
Gladness and joy overflow in me,
as I wlak through the green.
