Aphorism - José Craveirinha

There once was an ant
sharing isolation with me,
we used to eat together.
We were almost the same
with just two differences:
it was not being interrogated
and it was only stepped on by mistake.
They could make us both crawl,
but they could not
take away our dignity.

José Craveirinha (1922 - 2003) Mozambique
