ls the exodus at birth?
ls it at conception
Or is it in the genes
From the ends of the earth we have traversed
To survive in the amniotic sack and not drawn,
Like a cat, contracting bones
Traveling through a narrow vessel,
Shape shifting like an amoeba.
Bouncing back to our feet, with no bone broken,
Into an atmosphere of gasses.
A breath of fresh air filling the lungs,
Fueling the cylinders of the heart
Trekking to power the brain.
Awakening the muscles.
Transcending into steps
Leading to life's melody
So sweet, so daring, so scary, igniting a growth,
Scarred into a beauty of the unknown
Embracing fear, the greatest force.
Pushing us into a destiny,
Uncharted territory we win,
Building faith in self to conquer
To hit rock bottom and to rise to higher heights
ls an everyday voyage.
