Blessed be the butterfly - Betsimar Sepúlveda

Blessed be the butterfly
wise enough to separate the flames from the fire
and to hurl itself, delirious, into the beauty of its center.
It will not be stuck with pins onto showcases
or devoured by the morning jay
Nor will it end in a boy's satchel.
The entire flame fits in its belly
thus becoming a light for moonless roads
and for the dogless blind.
