tears till I felt tired | ●● | and I walked on that asphalt |
the chain links of tears falling | ●● | till I reached the airport |
around 7 a.m. | ●● | leaving a well of tears |
I melted when the plane took off | ●● | a candle dripping till I landed |
an overspill of tears | ●● | I had never joined that many tears before |
but since I left you, I’m uncontained | ●● | awash with grief and longing |
