war; what a chaos for my motherland
why do butterflies suddenly turn to bullets
your three letters erased those smiles
kids became adults between your lines
you sent away my Muslim friend and
my Catholic faith in a blink of an eye
this hate between us is not a question
of religion as love was our common one
war, what a ruin, what a shame
when we think oil and diamonds will
never replace humans.
