a tribute to emily dickinson - Piotr Kostousov

I swap my freedom like a coin
for paths and springs and groves,
and every word that I can join:
I hope it well behoves.

I never dream to claim it back
in weather fair and rough:
there’s not a thing that I can lack
The world is wide enough.

Piotr Kostousov (20th century) Russia
