Asmeret - Asghedom W. Michael

You whose eyes are like stars
         You walk so beautifully
You're like the rays of the setting sun
As night is about to fall
Your silken hair and golden neck
         I'm drowning in your love.

Asmeret, Asmeret, life's sweetness
         O Asmeret, sweet as honey.

Enthroned in love you are
You're as wise as you are beautiful
I'll spend my life with you if you'll let me
As my heart cries out to you
Without shame I'm on my knees begging you
Please — tell me that you will, Asmeret.

Asmeret, Asrneret, life's sweetness
         O Asmeret, sweet as honey.

I suffer with my every thought of you
In the wind I hear your voice call me
I've made up my mind to be with you
         It's my heart's only option.
If you clon’t give me your answer true
As the sun sets my life will lose its meaning

Asmeret, Asmeret, life's sweetness
         O Asmeret. Sweet as honey.
