I Do Not Bow - Qassim Haddad

Naked I stand in the chilling wind
Alone
like the letter A
and I do not bow
I mutiny against all the idols
and I do not bow
I emerge from one raging fire and enter another one
and I do not bow
I believe in the meeting of opposites
and I do not bow
I mingle with ashes
and I do not bow
except to you
