Oh bird, do you fly? - Hadraawi

Oh bird, do you fly,
With the roaring winds, do you soar.
Do you not serve the people,
And do you not work harder for the people?

I am feeble, exhausted, and falling
Open your lips.
Are you a great traveler
and expert in countries?
In the distant villages.
where you are sent,
Do you find its path?
Hey bird who's traveled and circled around a lot.
Perched on the branch of the tree.
Let me share my needs and shortcomings.
And engage in a debate with you
"I've become exhausted. searching for (soul).
Blocked and prevented from seeing.
Whom I am not giving up finding.
Is the chosen one I desire.
Who has become the cure for my heart."
Can you feel sympathy for me?
Can you Fight and advocate for me?
As midnight nears, the world falls into a poetic hush,
Embraced by the quietude of the night
Stand by his dwelling where shadows dance,

Wave with grace, call his name in a silent trance.
Hold his hand, tender, like a baby so sweet.
Wander away, where solitude and whispers meet.
Convey my news through the language of the breeze,
Carry him gently, a burden with such ease.
Swim the oceans, traverse the vast expanse,
Soar through clouds, in a celestial dance.
Bless the sight of my eyes. O messenger divine.
Seat him close, in a space where hearts entwine.

Oh bird, do you fly,
With the roaring winds, do you soar.
Do you not serve the people,
And do you not work harder for the people?
Open your lips, Are you a great traveler and expert in countries?
In the distance villages, where you are sent,
Do you find its path?
