If we all

Belong to

One father,

And one mother.

If we all

Are brothers:

Yellows,

Blacks,

And whites.

If we all

Are made

Of mud,

And none

Of us

Is made

Of emerald,

Or gold.

If we all

Are the same,

Despite

The size

Of the eyes,

And the color

Of the skin.

If we need

Each other,

To prosper,

To survive.

If we all

Believe in

A power

Beyond ours.

If we are

What we are,

Why then,

Do we fight,

And kill

Each other?

If we all

Belong to

One father,

And one mother.

If we all

Are brothers,

Why then,

Don’t we

Live together,

In love,

In harmony,

And in peace.
