Chaucerian breaths
My English breathes;
With Milton’s deep sighs
It moans;
Shakespearian roles
It faithfully performs;
Horizons of Whitman’s soul
It looks upon;
With Twainian inner smiles
It bursts;
Out of the breadth
Of Coranic shades
It blossoms.
