What reason is there to think of time,
how many hours have passed or remain?
If it’s night or if it’s warm out,
If we’re in summertime;
If the sun will show its face or not?
Or even what reason might a song like this serve?
After knowing you
– Poets? what’s the use of them?
Or of Gods – What purpose Doubts?
– Almond trees along the streets,
even the very streets themselves –
After having had You?
