A path to the Sea - Krzeslawa Skrzypczynska

Gadgets

I love those our gadgets
color ones,
although alike;
pillows, patchworks for sleeping,
even those mute ones
two glass roses, donated,
identical accidentally,
those of our ancestors,
who look down from above,
lamps, flashlights, and countless
of numerous things,
these dotted CDs
what I like the most
because of their rebellion,
little son's pictures
and my reflection corner,
which big
and yet too small,
solid but even too much,
on the background of palm trees
in the flour of golden sand
and of this water, enveloping him with foam.
On the horizon, separated by a strong line
the temporality
and not,
there is a small picture hanging
of grandparents
and the plate is no longer golden
and similar in color to palm trees.
Right in the corner, on the left
I have a path to the sea, full of twigs
and of palm friends.
I rarely look
in that direction.
