Song of noble grief - Migjeni

Oh, noble grief of the suffering soul
That bursts out in the free verses...
Did you hope the world to console
And prettify life's reverses?

Oh, noble grief in the verses free,
Which sound and resound so sincere,
Will you move the feelings of men
Or wither and die forgotten?

Oh, song worthy of noble grief,
Cease not your lamentation,
Continue to sing about poverty,
For time will bring consolation.
