The ghetto - Barnabé Laye

You are in the ghetto, my brother
You are in the ghetto.

Your wife left with the children
Leaving you a house in the wind
Carrying everything, even your dog
Carrying everything, even the little things,
And suddenly, the void of a life without friends
Running in tears on your shirt.

The ghetto
You are in the ghetto, my brother
You are in the ghetto
