Modern day injustice - Andres Garcia

Blacks and Hispanics on the road to justice, but we are stuck in traffic.
We want our peace in the community but we are stuck in panic.

We are slaves to the system,
but don't you dare play our mission.

I refuse to be another statistic,
Oh how prolific.

The media may report us as segregated animals,
but we know we are far more than separated animals.

Minorities in the handcuffs;
Michael Brown had his hands up,
so it's only best we stand up

in these protests, Understand that you can lead,
A flower can grow in society, you just have to plant your seed.

Andres Garcia (21st century) USA
